About Bilbo Solar Farm
Bilbo Solar Farm is a 36.6 MW solar farm with adjacent battery energy storage facility in planning. It is located in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
The site was originally developed by Green Energy International and acquired by Lynher Energy (joint venture between Ethical Power and Napier Park Capital) in July 2022.
Ethical Power completed the due diligence, optimisation and design engineering of the plans as well as the final development stages including obtaining relevant permissions and securing grid connection.
The project is now ready to build and is expected to energise in 2024.
