David has over 10 years of experience in construction in renewables. He has strong technical knowledge and expertise in engineering, procurement and commissioning of various renewable energy projects. David is now in charge of the Spanish business supervising the design, construction, purchases, health & safety and financial procedures along with the day-to-day operations.

Javier García

Construction Director

Javier has been a partner of David’s since their childhood and they went to college together to study civil engineering. He joined Ethical Power Spain, as the Fundici project started its planning and needed a Construction Manager to oversee the erection of the power plant and grid connection, along with the suppliers and third parties. Javier has been instrumental to the success of the project. He ensures our EPC projects are delivered to the highest quality standard every time.

Gonzalo Garnica

Design & Tendering Manager

Gonzalo has been one of our first team members and he takes care of the design plans depending on the necessity of the sites. He completes our bid packs and ensures all project requirements are met. With more than 20 years of experience working across some of the largest solar PV plants in Spain and internationally, Gonzalo brings a wealth of practical expertise.

Antonio Palacios

Site Manager

Antonio is the person in charge of all the works done in the construction site of our projects, supervising the subcontractors and Ethical Power employees, buying materials depending on the phase of the project and reporting the progress to management and staff.

Ana Moro

Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer, Ana completes the designs of the photovoltaics projects for our EPC and consultancy work. In addition to that, she also verifies the performance on those designs, as stated by the client and ensure projects align to the ground conditions and comply with stated parameters.

Jose María Mancheño

Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer, Jose evaluates the electrical systems, its products and components and ensures compliance with the rules and restrictions. Furthermore, he analyses the designs that the external engineer brings him to develop the electrical design of the plant with the estimation on the equipment and construction costs.

Carlos Linares

Finance & Admin Manager

Carlos reports the financial statements to the UK management team and sets up administrative procedures such as payments to suppliers, service providers and staff (payroll and personal expenses). He completes the invoices register along with other accountancy procedures to support next steps for Ethical Power España.

55MW Fundici Solar Farm – our first Spanish build.

The Fundici project marks an important milestone for Ethical Power’s growth. The site was developed by Hive Energy (an international renewables developer and operator of large-scale solar projects) and in November 2022 sold to Encavis AG (one of the leading independent power producers in Europe). Ethical Power has been awarded the EPC contract for the delivery of the project with construction taking place in 2023.
