In January 2021 Hive Energy Acquired 50% of the Ethical Power Group. Hive Energy are one of the largest developers of renewable energy projects in the world. Their expert team have developed an international pipeline of solar (photovoltaics), green hydrogen, wind, and green ammonia projects. Hive now have a green energy pipeline of over 26 GW across over 20 countries. The transaction created a UK based fully integrated renewables company with successful track records in: development, construction, HV connections, operations and maintenance and asset management.

As well as in the UK, Ethical Power aim to support Hive Energy in building their projects. Taking advantage of it’s priorities access to Hive’s development pipeline, Ethical Power will acquire their projects at fair market value and build them out.

Hive Energy Limited have provided working capital and support to help Ethical Power scale up and expand into a number of new territories and business lines. Funding has been extended in the form of shareholder loans and Hive Energy continue to support the ongoing business growth.
