Spencer has been at the forefront of the solar industry for over 30 years.

As CTO, Spencer leads strategic technical projects, develops the in-house global technical resources and has ultimate responsibility for the technology infrastructure of Ethical Power Group companies. As a board member, Spencer helps shape our strategy for further global expansion, ensuring smooth integration and continued development of new entities within the Group.

David Martinez

Country Manager
Ethical Power España

David has over 10 years of experience in construction in renewables. He has strong technical knowledge and expertise in engineering, procurement and commissioning of various renewable energy projects. David is now in charge of the Spanish business supervising the design, construction, purchases, health & safety and financial procedures along with the day-to-day operations.

Matt Rowe

Managing Director
Ethical Power New Zealand

Matt is an expert in delivering successful projects having led Energy Procurement and Advisory Services teams, ensuring cost optimisation and on time delivery of large-scale developments. He now has over 20 years of experience working in the energy sector in Australasia and Europe. He’s in charge of the New Zealand entity, overseeing the delivery of 800MW solar pipeline.

Jack Bishop

Operations Director

Jack joined Ethical Power in August 2022, bringing the knowledge and experience from working for major critical infrastructure construction companies and helping us apply it to our projects. As Operations Director, Jack is responsible for strategic improvements to our operations, ensuring we continue to raise standards, always aiming for excellence in our delivery.

Simona Scanu

Head of Operations

Simona first joined us as Senior Contracts Manager. Her transformative approach has helped us make a step change in how we collaborate with clients and partners, as well as how we effectively manage our scope of work. As Head of Operations, Simona oversees efficient workflows to propel us towards achieving our strategic goals.

Oliver Fernandes

Head of Quality and Compliance

Oliver ensures our sites are completed to the highest specification, inspected and certified for handover to the O&M teams. He is the person completing our Performance Acceptance Certification procedures and cooperating with clients to meet all their requirements at each stage of the acceptance process.

Robert Thomas

SHEQ Director

Rob joined in May 2023 and holds the position of SHEQ director, overseeing the team of SHEQ managers and advisors providing support to all UK projects.

Rob has previously provided SHEQ consultancy on Solar PV through his own company Soteria Griffin, and was formerly Regional SHEQ Manager in the South for Suez waste and recycling. Rob is passionate about driving a positive safety culture and specialises in behavioural safety.

Francesca Cavallini

Country Manager
Ethical Power Italia

Francesca is leading Ethical Power’s expansion in Italy. Prior to joining Ethical Power, Francesca worked in senior roles within renewable energy companies including EDP Renewables and Gamesa. Most recently, in addition to overseeing the design and construction of the company’s logistics infrastructure, she expedited the connection of Amazon’s solar roofs on its buildings. She has been critical to the successful delivery of their projects in Trento, Bari, Perugia and many more.

Ethical Power started constructing energy generation systems in 2010. Since then, it has completed projects ranging from rooftop solar to 50MW+ utility-scale ground-mount solar farms and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
