Statera Energy develops, owns and operates flexible assets to balance a renewables-led electricity system, playing a key role in balancing fluctuations in the supply of renewable energy to the UK’s electricity network and providing greater energy security.
Ethical Power was engaged as the ICP and principal contractor for the delivery of the 50MW battery project. The energy storage facility located in Malmesbury, Wiltshire has the potential to power more than 13,000 homes.
We mobilised the project in May 2022 and it was successfully energised on time in September 2022.

Scope:
- Mechanical and electrical balance of plant (BoP) contract
- Connecting to an existing IDNO 33kV substation
- Installation of Sungrow air-cooled batteries paired with Sungrow MV Skids/PCS Units and Energy Management System
