Scope
- A comprehensive mechanical and electrical balance of plant for the 132kV grid connection onto UKPN's network
- 0.3km 132kV Cable Route back to the Rayleigh UKPN Substation
About the project:
Ethical Power has successfully carried out a comprehensive mechanical and electrical balance of plant service for the 132kV grid connection onto UKPN’s network. This involved a 0.3km 132kV cable route back to the Rayleigh UKPN Substation.
The project incorporates Sungrow air-cooled batteries paired with Sungrow MV Skids and PCS Units.
Commencing our mobilisation in July 2022, we have efficiently completed the project, wrapping up in June 2023. This was the biggest new storage asset to come online in Q2 2023 in the UK.
With Statera Energy now partnering with us for other projects, it underscores the high level of confidence in our team’s delivery capabilities and the quality of our work.
Our impact:
We effectively energised the site within the designated timeframe agreed upon by both our client and the Distribution Network Operator (DNO).
This successful project execution is a testament to our professionalism and competence, and it sets a positive tone for future collaborations, reinforcing our commitment to meeting and exceeding expectations in the energy sector.
This marks the company’s fourth 132kV UKPN-teed connection, underscoring the proficiency of our design teams. Notably, this is the third configuration in alignment with UKPN’s G81 policies and approved product database.
Sustainability at Dollymans BESS:
As we continue to pioneer advancements in the energy industry, sustainability remains at the core of our values, ensuring that our projects not only meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency but also contribute positively to the long-term well-being of our planet.
