Ethical Power Spain announces today that is has been selected as the principal EPC contractor for Ignis’ 55MW solar PV project: Rascon Solar. The project is owned by Ignis Renovables, SL, one of the largest Spanish renewable energy developers.
Located in the Lleida region, the site will cover 96.52 Ha. With 78,000 modules, each with a capacity of 705W, the site will have a peak generation capacity of 54.99MW. A tracker system will be implemented in this project to ensure maximum generation.

Groundbreaking at Rascon Solar took place on the 24th February, as the Ethical Power team began pre-construction activities and the compound area preparation.
With a tight delivery schedule, the project is expected to energise in 2025, delivering green power to the grid in time for winter.
