Ethical Power secures three CfDs in AR7

Ethical Power wins three solar farm CfDs in Allocation Round 7.

[LONDON, MARCH 2026] Ethical Power has successfully secured three Contracts for Difference (CfDs) in Allocation Round 7 (AR7), the company’s most successful auction round to date. The awards mark another significant milestone for the UK’s only independent, vertically integrated renewable energy company, reinforcing its ability to move projects from concept to ready-to-build status in a highly competitive market.

All three sites, which represent a combined capacity of over 41MW of solar PV, will help strengthen the UK’s energy security and accelerate the transition to clean, domestically generated power.

Securing three CfDs in a single allocation round demonstrates our strength across the full project lifecycle, from site origination and planning strategy through to grid application, technical design and commercial structuring.

The 41MW portfolio, developed in conjunction with various partners, adds to our growing pipeline of over 1GW of solar PV, alongside more than 500MW currently under construction globally across solar PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

The CfD mechanism provides long-term revenue stability, supporting investor confidence and enabling the build-out of projects designed for long-term performance and reliability.

We continue to support utilities, investors, and IPPs with end-to-end asset management services, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and optimised for maximum return.
