Sizing John Energy Storage Project is a strategic grid-balancing facility located near Liverpool. Its completion reinforces Ethical Power’s position as a trusted high-voltage and storage partner capable of delivering complex transmission-projects.
Ethical Power was selected by asset owners Varco to act as principal contractor, providing full turnkey solution including the design, CDM, M&E, civils, ICP works at 33kv/132kv.
This included the 600-metre off site route to connect the client’s substation to National Grid’s network, as well as procuring and commissioning the 132kV substation and auxiliary transformer on site.
