Ethical Power awarded Berkeley and North Tawton O&M contracts

[Bristol, May 2025] Ethical Power has been awarded two new contracts to provide full operations and maintenance services for the SMS-owned Berkeley and North Tawton BESS sites, as well as 24-hour performance monitoring for both sites.

North Tawton BESS is a 30MW battery storage site located near Exeter, and the award-winning Berkeley site is a 50MW BESS project in Gloucestershire. Both sites, owned and operated by SMS Ltd, were delivered by Ethical Power under full wrap EPC contracts and are now energised and connected.
